Under chiropractic care, fewer school absences and better overall health lead to more academic success for him, as well as high school athletic pursuits which resulted in multiple baseball and soccer scholarship opportunities. It was then that he decided to pursue a career in chiropractic.

Since his mother was a chiropractor he had already seen the extent to which Americans turned to drugs and surgery, even though people just seemed to grow sicker. As a chiropractor, Dr. Russell felt that he could be an active part of the coming revolution towards alternative healthcare.

Dr. Russell’s academic efforts were uniquely designed to propel him toward this goal. After high school, he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology, and a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri.

After finishing his education, Dr. Russell and his wife, Dr. Katie, also a chiropractor, moved to Mooresville, North Carolina where he practiced in the NASCAR community. Today, the Hulberts live in the Dayton area with their beautiful children Peyton and Lucas.
